Well, I don't have my first bow kill, but here is my first LFTT thread...headed in now, got a late start, hunting this morning before the weather moves in.

I just got settled in. I brought my camera man to one of my spots this morning. He's never killed with a bow so I'm going to video him this morning.

I got down early. Someone walked in super close to where I was, but I didn't see anything all morning anyway. Kind of annoying. Oh well. I just want to see a deer....lol

I can't get good enough service in Bankhead to post a LFTT. Good to be in the woods though.

Got out there this am but didn't even see a squirrel, it was 94.7 degrees just a few minutes ago, think I will wait till tomorrow morning.

I am setup in Crenshaw county hunting a trail in the edge of an overgrown clearcut. It is HOT!

Deer should be easing out of this old cutover pretty soon, and those crazy jokers are walking past three dozen white oaks to get to this one big red oak for some reason ...

Those of us hunting this afternoon in this heat must be stupid including myself. I havent got a dry spot on me and it aint raining. I forgot to bring my camo to change into and the 4 wheeler rearend tore up about 2 miles from the truck. Screw it Im hunting until dark in blue jeans and a tshirt then walking back to the truck.

You know, I bowhunted successfully and comfortably for 20 years without using a bow hanger. But last year I was given one of these Realtree EZ hangers for Christmas and started using it, now I don't know how I ever hunted without one!!

Just had a big ol healthy doe work through at about 40 yards.

Went and prehung the stand for saturday morning and bumped a few deer coming into my spot. Thats about all I got for today.

No signal this morning on Black Warrior, but there wasn't anything to type about anyway. Didn't hunt this afternoon. Good luck it's getting that time!
