Best Target for the Money - 10/01/16 07:47 PM
I'm in need of a target as my old bag is officially dry rotted after 6 years or more.
There seems to be wide price range form 40-$130. Seems a bit extreme. I'm looking for easy pull arrows, long lasting, and capable of shooting broad heads. I don't mind paying for quality.

Morrell, 40-60$.
Just don't get them wet or let them sit in the elements.
The better, bigger morrell targets are 120-160. Cheaper on Amazon.

I've used many different kinds but a good ol fashioned hay bale is still the best bang for your buck.

I cant bring myself to pay what they want for a good target.
I go to the feed store and get a nylon feed sack and stuff it with whatever I can find. it will last a while.

If you were closer I've got an academy brand target that's built like the morrel targets that I'd sell for 30

I can tell you the worst target for the money. That Walmart Buck Commander. I needed something cheap to shoot broadheads. It's junk. I've barely shot it and bits of target coming out with my broadheads.

A Blob target. I shoot a lot and these are the longest lasting targets I've ever had. Broadhead and fieldpoints.

I got a bag from Academy for $27 that I shoot w/my field points, and I got a clearance deal on a Black Hole for less than $50 that I infrequently shoot w/BH's to "confirm" & tune 'em. I can't rave about either target, but they get the job done well enough for me. I don't leave the Black Hole target out in the weather.

Rinehart 18-1 target is about $100 but it lasts a very long time. Broadheads and field points.
