How long spinoff,how many deer have you taking with a bow.

Who knows. I've lost count of the rack bucks that I've killed. I've passed a few rack bucks, too. I only mounted three of them; an 8pt, a 9pt, and a 12pt.

I haven't done near as well as a lot of folks, but I've been happy with it.

I've never kept count. But if I get one this season it will be 20 straight years with at least one bow kill.

A fat 0 for me. I've been told to get it done soon or my avatar gets a makeover.

Only killed 1, which was a doe last year in my second season of owning a bow. Stuck a buck first though with no recovery, but thankfully he lived and seemed fine at the end of January.

Used to keep a notebook on all kills...deer, turkey, hogs, armadillos you name it.

Quit after I reached a hundred deer by bow. 6 that will make pope and young.

Now I just keep up with what my son kills.

Started in 2014, got 2; got 1 last year ... so 3 total

Never kept track really. In 25 years I guess around 30. Most on public land.

Couldn't tell ya an exact number, except on bucks. I don't shoot small ones, and have not taken but one buck with my bow, (public land) 2.5 yr old 7 point. Hoping to up him this year for buck #2!

2-4 per year for 12-15 yrs.

Drawn back on 1, haven't fired a single arrow at one. Just didn't feel good about the shots and decided not to risk a bad shot. I think it was good for me to just watch how the deer acted, but man I relive that all the time when I'm thinking about hunting. Hoping to change that this year. I've been shooting everyday.

From the time I was 19-35 I killed a doe or two every year and a buck or two every other year. When I started taking my oldest son hunting everything slowed down, but that's ok too. I did kill 4 bucks one year, 3 of them had velvet which was cool. None were big and none got a pass back then. First deer with a bow ever was a 5 point back in 90.

Don't know exactly but around 150. Killed at least one per year for the last 28 years.

First one went down in 1989, killed 2-6 per year since for 27 years straight.
So 75-90ish ? I guess the bigger number to me is the few that weren't found or bad hits,
My last count was 9 in 27 years, that's the one that means the most to me, tears me up to leave them wounded.

Killed my first with a bow 18 years ago. Since then I have killed at least 2 per year and most years I kill 3-4 with my bow. So I will go with the bare minimum of 36+.

45. I have a tackle box for archery equipment (field tips, broadheads, wrenches, etc.). I keep a tally on the lid.

Quit shooting the does when I reached 100. Son started hunting with me about 15 years ago and I started hunting with my gun then. Killed 2 bucks with the bow since then which runs my total to 102 with the bow. I am just too busy to hunt with the bow now in the early season.

I just ain't mad at em anymore. I now kill two bucks a year with my gun and call it quits. Getting old sucks.

I started bowhunting later in life. From 07' to present, I've killed 16 deer. Fourteen with longbows, and 2 with compound.

First one in 1970. 52 with recurve, 60-70 with compound. Rheumatoid Arthritus forcing me to crossbow this year.

I'm like several others on here, I never kept count. Similar to what Shaw said, I've killed at least 1 every year for about as long as I can remember. I have killed 13 in one season and 11 another season (with a bow), and four seasons ago I killed 3 deer on public land alone with a bow. Just guessing, I'm gonna say I've probably killed around 50 to 60. For about 10 years I leased some land in Chambers Co that was just crazy loaded with deer. It was like nothing I've ever seen...there would literally be globs of poop under all the acorn trees, you could kill at least a doe every single morning and afternoon if you wanted to. I've shot a doe, the other ones would just stand there, so I'd shoot another one. I ain't quite that greedy or excitable in my older age though, but those were just awesome days.

Strangely enough, I do remember that I've killed 3 coyotes with a bow

Killed my first one in mid 70s. 10 years ago I joined a club in Sumter county that was covered up. Killed 23 in two seasons then they kicked me out. Jealous I guess.

I have no idea how many does I've killed with a bow but I can tell you I've never killed a buck with it. I've let tons of 2-3 year old bucks walk since I was 15 and I've never been able to get on a mature buck within range

I've killed several I dont really remember. Probably averaged 2 a year since I was 14 or 15
