That lake regularly produces 2 to 4 lb shellcrackers. I would love to go but dang it's a long way over there. Here is a video about catching them. These guys don't know the difference between a shellcracker and a bluegill but they catch some gooduns. Go to about the 14:00 mark to see the biggest ones.

Yeah they using bass-sized spinning gear.And they don't seem to pull like those NW Florida river redears...
