I have not been on the lake in a couple weeks but was was told Sunday by a big time crappie fisherman that they were biting good against the banks in the creeks.

I had a bass tournament this past weekend and the crappie fisherman were piled up in Tobannee Creek. There is a 20’ ditch that runs down the middle

Stop by Marvin’s and go the back counter. Talk to the manager named tony. He is the big curly haired guy. He is THE MAN when it comes to Lake Eufaula crappie and loves talkin fishing. He is also very generous with fishing info. When you pull in the parking lot , if he is there, you will see his old brown truck with crappie stickers all over the back windshield parked against the fence.

He is a heck of a nice guy. If his truck isn’t a t Marvin, it’s a safe bet you will find it at the barbour creek boat landing.

Is Tony the guy that takes the kids fishing and wears an Easter bunny costume?
naw that's outdoors. He wears that everyday, except some days he's a squirrel !

Sounds like him . I think I have seen him in pics in a bunny suit at Easter and Santa suit at Christmas holding crappie. He does some guiding , but has also helped out a lot of people including myself getting started on how and where to sink brush piles and what and where the fish are biting. Seems like I remember him helping out a family and taking someone fishing who wanted to go before passing on. .

I believe fox 6 just did an absolutely Alabama on that feller.
Try White Oak at the south end of the lake. Right by the launch there’s a bridge with straps under it. Minnow fish those pillars.
