Best lure for night fishing?

Going to fish a lake this weekend, no interest in the sun so we’re going at night. Never done much bass fishing at night so I’d appreciate a few pointers. Thanks

Hard to beat a regular ol texas rigged worm. Spinner bait with a big colorado blade. Different jigs...smaller hair jigs and bigger rubber skirted jigs. At times buzz baits are deadly.

Idk if my heart could handle a bass blowing up on a buzz bait in the black of night.

A big ole bright light in the water.

I take 2 lures with me at night when its warm a shakey head and a casting/jigging spoon to fish around lights.

A big Musky one at that.

Spinnerbait in black or a big ole Texas rigged worm

I use a black Texas rugged lizard and a black spinnerbait when I fish at night

Black blade

#5 or # 7 shad rap in break or baby bass. Will catch darn near anything from crappie, bass , stripe and catfish.

Basically whatever you are most comfortable throwing

Big Ole Musky Jitterbug if your feelin skwurly.

You've got that right. I was fishing one evening as it got dark and I quit catching fish while my buddy continued to wear them out. He was fishing a black spinnerbait. When I switched to black, I started catching them again.

^^^^^ Fish the black muskie sized one with 60lb braid. plop plop plop plop - and eventually boom. You might only get one bite or even no bites on a given night with the big one but for some reason it brings the big ones up. Best way I know to catch the biggest fish in a given body of water it you are patient and willing to put in the time over multiple nights.
