Quick run to the Marsh

Ran down to LA for a quick trip with the daughter. Fishing was tough and we did not catch a limit, but her first ever redfish was a 22lb beast. She only weighs about 60lb.

Beautiful fish! Big reds on my “bucket list” as are pier tarpon with aldeer’s very own Peach.
Tell us details of her fighting that beast to get it in.

As soon as the bobber went under, I said, “M, that’s a good one.” I had to hold the pole up, but she did the rest. It took 10-15m and made several good runs. I thought we would have to revive it, but even after that fight and pics, it took off with a splash as soon as it hit the water again.

I can put you on some redfish!
