Jordan 9/29

Got out and rode around Jordan for a while. Didn't fish much. They have dropped the water 4ft for shoreline work and dock repairs. Spent most of my time in the areas I normally fish looking for stuff. Found a ton of coontail down on the lower end that I didn't know was there. That's a new development. Shad were moving to the backs of the creeks. Water temps were in the low 80's. Had a couple of topwater blowups, but that's about it.

When they drop Neeley in November, I am real afraid how much coontail we are going to see. Slough were old Tommy's Marina is located is full of it.

What area did you see the coontail in?

New Lake. Can't miss it right now. Interested to see what it will fish like with the water up. Guess you fish it like hydrilla?
