How is the fishing on Holt or Oliver Pool in July. I have never been. I would like to try for the big spots I'v heard about. Would it be better to wait until Fall.

It sucks right now I didn't even catch very many on live shad the last couple of days

A month ago I would have said come on but right now it's sucking hard. My son caught one on a zara spook over 5 and I had three more over 4.5 and a bunch of 2.5-3 lbers one day in early june

My neighbor has been doing pretty good at night. I just wish I had time to go with him

Last week from Oliver, I ran down halfway to fosters and caught a bunch of catfish in the bowl. Started at 6:00 pm and left at dark.
