Off shore and today reds

Was slow off shore this weekend for the tunas Was wishing we had the electric reels about midnight Saturday night. No life whatsoever from the drill ships we were at.

Then took the pops fishing for some reds with a buddy of his this morning.

My friends went out there that weekend and had similar luck.

Nope. Just blackfins. Plenty of em but not what you drive that far for.

Man, that tuna looks FINE! When it's cooked right, you might still wish you had yellow fin, but that black fin will do just fine until then!

Those reds will go great on a grill or in a smoker, too!
