Arbogast, their biggest sellers were the Hulapopper, Mudbug and Jitterbjavascript: void(0)ug. To be honest I can't think of many lures they made that sold. What do you think of this thing? It's name is the Buzzplug

Oh yeah years ago they made the Hawaian Wiggler. An inline spinnerbait. Boy that was at least 40 yrs ago. I think they made another named the Sputterfuss. It was a forerunner of the buzzbait!

Wiggler kinda reminds me of a Snagless Sally

Hiwaiian Wiggler was what the older folks used on a jigger poles alot.
Perch, there was another lure like this. Can't remember the name though. Had a prop on it too. About the same vintage though. Seems like "Devil" may have been in the name. (Not horse or imp)

Old Herbs Dilly was similar to the wiggler

Do you old guys remember the original Yellow Sally? It was a weighted feather streamer with a Hildebrandt blade attached to the front. You used pork chunks on it too. There was also the Professor and Lord Baltimore. Lord Baltimore the feathers were Black and the body was orange.

Ernie I can't remember that one.

The yellow sally technically was just the weighted "fly". You bought the spinner separate. I still have a couple in the package as well as a black one. Think it's called a black prince.

I never heard of Herb's Dilly. Sounds like I missed out on one.

I may have owned one. I think it had a blade similar to the Hawaiian Wiggler , but had a spoon head and then the skirt.

Thanks perch, yeah it was a Dilly from the 80's. I gave the ones with the old style blade to my brother who collects. Some of them had hair skirts. The barleys are either top cats or fat cats. The sallies are from the 70's. I've caught fish on the one out of the package.
