Lake George--Cullman

What's the deal with this lake? Any decent crappie or bluegill fishing in it? I thought about giving it a try since it's close but being relatively new to this area of AL I've never fished anywhere but Guntersville.

I've heard the bluegill fishing is decent. Bass fishing is tough, find are common but the big ones are there. Saying all of that I dont go there often.
