Another trolling question on Coosa

I've trolled for crappie for years but want to get my boys on some stripe on the Coosa (Logan Martin, Lake Martin, etc...). What kind of bait do I need to use (live or artificial, if artificial, what kind of lure)? How fast do I troll? For crappie I always used the trolling motor. Is it the same here or do I move a touch faster? How deep? Sorry if the questions sound stupid and I'm not asking for anyone's secrets. Just never done it before and looking to be pointed in the right direction to get started and get some little boys on some fish. Thanks

You don't have to travel to lake Martin to catch stripe, there's plenty in every coosa impoundment. Get a fish finder and idle around creek mouths or the dam intakes.

If you just wanna catch fish then there are plenty of bream beds, or look for bushes and docks that have may flies.
