Chickens

I need 3-5 barred rock hens. I would prefer hens that were either already laying or very close. Wouldn’t mind another barred rock rooster. I found some in clay county but that a little over 2 hours. Don’t really want to drive that far.

Don’t know where you live but Collinsville trade day has all you. I went last Saturday and got a few young hens. Hundreds of Barred rock from several different sellers.

I had a flock of barred rocks. Those dang roosters were mean as heck ! My wife shot one of em for floging my oldest daughter ....

I found some in Cullman. I’ve got a rooster but he doesn’t know he’s a rooster yet. He’s about the friendliest one I have now. Once he gets old enough to figure it all out I guess I’ll see if he’s mean or not.
