It’s a 1980 and has the big 4dlt battery Which has around 950 cranking amps. Do most people replace with the same or go to a modern smaller higher amp battery.
When the battery gave out on my 3600, I went to Walmart and bought a 1000CCA and put it on it. That was in 2017 and still going strong. The tractor stays at the camp and only gets used a few times a year.

check the height of the replacement battery. I have seen over the years people use too tall battery and it hits the hood and shorts out. Also make sure to strap battery down!
