I’m not sure how many jars we made so far. Gonna make some bread and butter with garlic and onions in em Friday. You are right about the waiting part. It’s tough. [Linked Image][Linked Image]

Mrs wages dill pickle mix with okra is delicious. Add a pod or two of pepper for heat per jar

That’s what we use now. They have a spicy garlic I believe it is that’s great.

Not doing any dill pickles this yr, but momma did do some bread and butter yesterday. I'm not a big fan but hers are worth eating. She's planning on pickling some okra for me when it comes in

Did some more garlic and onion bread and butter pickles and some garlic dill and dill okra this morning. Still got a bowl full of cucumbers that’s fixing to go to one of my buddies so he can make some pickles. [Linked Image]

Something wasn't clean enough or you didn't use enough vinegar. They're fermenting, like Outback said.

Golly! Lots of pickle making going on. I have put up 15 pints of bread and butter, 4 pints of dill slices & 8 quarts of garlic dill spears, as well as two quarts of dill spears....I forgot the onion and garlic in those. LOL

Nice to see postings. I have been locked out forever it seems.

I have also put up 24 quarts of tomatoes and 4 pints of tomatoes as well.
