Try mixing some mrs wages dill pickle mix and pickle them. I put a pod or two of hot pepper in each jar to jazz it up. Mighty tasty

i do use pickle crisp but other than that its just mrs wages mix use directions on package and pepper to taste. Heat jars, put jar rings and flats in almost boiling water. Pack okra lengthwise in jar (smaller pods are better). Add boiling mix by pouring over okra until jar is almost full. Put lid on almost tight. Place in water bath canner for 15 min. Remove and place on towel with top facing up. They will seal as they cool.
