You must have watered the heck out of them during the drought this past fall.

About twice a week. I dont have water on the property so i looked like a gypsy wagon hauling water filled milk jugs, antifreeze jugs and 5 gallon buckets.
I just put 8 trees in the ground, apple pear cherry. 4 blueberry bushes, strawberry garden and putting in an asparagus garden this weekend

Update. Lost 1 apple, 1 fuyu, 1 fig, and 4 blueberry bushes. Already replaced them in the last week and the rest are coming on strong. If thats all I loose I will take that. The fuyu and the apple came in grow socks from the grower. After pulling them up and the grow bag decomposes to be able to see the roots i can see why they didnt make it. Huge thumb size or larger roots cut back to almost the trunk. Didnt leave enough root to keep up with the large tree.
My plums are really jumping. They are 7-9 ft tall already. Figs are looking good also their 2nd yr.
