Blackberry canes

I think I’m gonna put plastic over them tonight. They aren’t blooming but have leaves budding out.

I have several new BB plants that I planted a couple of months ago, and I did not cover any of them. We had 4 consecutive nights in the 20s in that last cold spell, But the early leaf growth seems to be ok.
