My bees are hauling it in and boy can you smell it.

Yes on the socks. Our fields are pretty much lined with it blooming like crazy. I hope we get enough rain to keep it going through September and October.

None blooming here, SE Alabama, yet. Last 3 years have seen the first blooms on the 19th, 21st, and 20th of September so likely about 3 more weeks to wait. Have a couple of folks here that harvest and sell fall honey as Golden Rod honey. I just let my bees keep any/all the nectar they find after we rob them in July.
