First gifts from the garden

Picked a few squash and some cucumbers today.


The purple hulls are about a week or so from being ready to start picking. From the looks of it, we shoulda only planted one 150' row and not 2.
We are going to have lots to share with the neighbors if nothing bad happens. Everything in the garden is flowering or putting pods on. Between cutting rice and the garden, it's gonna be busy around here. I'm really liking this gardening stuff. The rewards of you work sure does taste good.
