Purple Martins and honeybees

I have them both, but this is a little too close for the Martins comfort and there were as many inside the gourd as there was outside the gourd.

Dang.

Slick set up once I looked closer. Only you would build a winch system to slide your Martin gourds up and down. I make the ones at the farm fend for themselves each spring. But I guess it was perfect for retrieving the swarm.

If they were only all that easy to catch.
