Picture? But might be early blight or nematoads and poor pollination due to the several days of rain. If you use tobacco might be TMV. I prune my tomatoes to keep all leaves away from the ground, and take off all but the first sucker to do a double stemmed plant. This allows for better airflow and more energy to go to fruits. Might be good to add epsom salt, fertilizer and prune as I said before. Good luck.

deerman, did you ever figure out what is going on with your tomatoes? Mine are doing the same thing. The leaves are turning brown and getting "crunchy" and the blossoms are falling off. I have pruned and given them 10-10-10 and epson salt but they are not improving.

Guys if you want tomatoes do this:

1. Set out tomato plants.

2. Fertilize with 13-13-13

3. Every 3 weeks sprinkle Epsom Salts (table spoon or two) around the base of the plant.

4. Find friends to give maters to because you'll have a truckload!

Several years ago there was a big commercial tomato farm up by the state line. He leased land all over the place to plant tomatoes. He said that you had to let land "lay out" after planting tomatoes in a field for two years or plant another crop like squash for a change.
