Where can I get a Paw Paw tree in North Alabama?

I'm looking for a Paw Paw tree around Huntsville. I called several nurseries and no one has any Paw Paw trees for sale. Who has them?

ETA: I want to pick it up not mail order. Called all the local HSV places and they don't have any...

I haven't seen one in years. Love to eat them. Good luck finding them.

Stark Brothers nursery carries them. They are a very good company.

Bennett Nursery, in Huntsville, probably has them. TyTy Nursery, in Tyty, Ga., definitely has them, but that's a little ways from you. I've had great luck with trees from Stark Bros, but Burgess has terrible reviews, never bought anything from Burgess, so can't give you any firsthand review of them. I did have 2 vines I bought from Stark to die, and they replaced them with no questions asked...never had a tree from them to not do well, though.

I probably have a 100 trees or more in my woods. All started by mother nature. They don't last a day on the ground. I will go in, in the fall if a tree has them you shake the tree and they will fall. The seeds in those things are huge.
