He is great our "our kids." He's great around little kids... Once they turn into teenagers, though, they are no different than anyone else. He doesn't want new friends... haha. Caution is always best and one new person at a time seems the best way to introduce people to him. If we have a group over at the house, I have learned to kennel him. He is fine with no whining or pining to get out. He knows that he is off duty if he is in there, so he doesn't need to work his protection thing.
