Dog hip pain relief - 02/19/20 02:21 AM

One of our dogs, a little mixed breed 12 pounder, is getting some age on her. She's 10-11 years old. She limps when she gets up from laying down. I've looked online and seen some supplements recommended. Do any of you have something that's worked for your dog?

Have an older Lab with a dysplastic hip. She has been on either Cosequin or Dasequin for a long time. Takes a while to build up but she is much stiffer if she runs out. That doesn't happen anymore.

I don’t have experience with this product. But I have seen it suggested before you might want to check it https://www.chewy.com/vetriscience-glycoflex-plus-joint/dp/118090

My older lab took shots of "Ichon" and it helped a lot. Now she has to take an NSAID for her bladder cancer so it does double duty. The "Ichon" took a loading dose of one shot per week for a month and then she got one every 4-6 weeks. I gave her every shot here at home, very easy and very cheap. Little to no side effects. Ask your vet.
