6 yr lab

Has started favoring her right front shoulder. Her pad looks good and doesn’t have any tender spots working up her leg. I’ve seen plenty with bad hips but not sure how concerned I should be. She puts weight on it and runs and swims fine. I just notice when she’s walking around the yard she favors that side. I started giving her a baby aspirin twice a day and feel like My vet won’t be much help?

I would let a vet check the dog out.

Take dog to vet and get an xray...worst case is it could be OCD. I had a lab that was fine until we ran a little then he would limp and favor that shoulder.

If you feel like your vet won't be much help, then it's time to find a new vet.

Your right long past time. Problem is there family and been going there 40 years.

Guess it depends on how much you want your dog to get better
