Meet my boys

Buck is the yellow male and Cash is the chocolate male. 12 week old brothers from an awesome line of hunting dogs. Buck is my dad's dog that I'll be helping train. Both are completely crate trained, will sit, come, heel, stay and load up. Incredibly smart calm dogs that love to please. You can see it in their face on a retrieve. Looking forward to many days in the woods with these guys.

What is your budget? I've got a few names. The kennel that I got these two from just had a litter of all chocolate with a super pedigree. Also have a coworker than has bred his female and they should be ready in a couple months.

5 months tomorrow. This was this past Saturday at hunt test practice. We did a three day class to prepare us to run our first hunt test next month. Saturday he completed two land retrieves and two water retrieves up to 100 yards with dead birds and passed nicely.

If you have not ready the book "Water Dog" it is a very helpful training tool. I used this book when I ran my dog in HRC trials. I liked how it broke down the time lines I.e. 16 weeks start hand signals by using the baseball method etc..good read.

We're at 6 months old now. Loving life, ducks and water.

I live in Chattanooga, but waterfowl hunt in Marshall county. My family farms a few places there.

Do you train in Chattanooga? I'm up here for a few weeks and would love to get my lab some water time. Can't find anywhere to do it.
