My grandad did 50 years ago I thought about getting a dog one time but you have to have a lot of land. Bobcats will bail out several times when treed. We chased one for 3 hrs one night my buddies coon dogs got on.

yep, you got to be able to keep putting pressure on them with fresh dogs. It takes a good pack of dogs and a good bit of land.

My Grandpa got a big tom near Englis , Fl. quite a few years ago .
I use to coon hunt with him and thought getting a cat like that east of the mississippi would be fun.
I'm wanting to get a tree dog but i'm not sure of all the public land rules here in florida . We have a lot of cats here -seen one killed in the road about a month ago.

I got a foxhound gyp that loves them. We run a few in blackwater. if she finds one while not after a fox/coyote. It's on. The other dogs will run it once it's going but not really start it. We've even found a few red fox lately.

The red fox are all done up around my house. I've seen a few about 10 miles or so from the house but I ain't seen one here in years.
