Cool Pic

I think this is a Sharp Shinned Hawk. Had to look it up. When I bush hog my field there will be 5 or 6 of these flying around and taking turns dive bombing the areas I’ve cut. Now they’re targeting my feeder.

After looking at it closer it may be a dove. I had found a pic of the hawk and the colors matched perfectly. There were several that would dive down while on my tractor and I thought this was one of them.

If you find a strange looking rock near that feeder, send some pictures of it to Joe4Majors.
He’s a Geologist and can identify it for you.

Alright so y’all had me 2nd guessing myself about what this was a pic of. These same hawks or falcons or whatever were back out there today. They don’t like my tractor for whatever reason. They kept swooping down at it, one coming within 5’ or so when it made its pass. I’m 100% it’s not a dove in that pic. I’ll do more research I guess. I’ll be posting a pic in a few of a dove at my feeder for size comparison.

They are falcons and they are catching/ eating bugs your tractor is flushing for them, like those big flying grasshoppers

Just saw one of these birds. Looked like a muscled up dove but lot bigger.. flew 10yds in front of me

You’re seeing MS Kites swoop by your tractor eating insects. Falcons rarely, if ever demonstrate that behavior.
