Seeing as how deer will not eat go near those feeders where I hunt, I’d take it down also.

I have removed the feeder. He hit another one not too far away. I am keeping it empty for the time being. However, I will say that I have pics of deer being run off by him and then them coming back right after he leaves... multiple times.

I would often see Sitka Blacktail and brown bears feeding together on saltflats in SE Alaska, in the spring. I'd imagine whitetails in the area are accustomed to the smell and would not be too bothered.

At least it's not in your backyard.

As for me, I finally found the answer to one of life's biggest questions...Not always; sometimes it's in my backyard

The 1st 3 pics, I was going to put my camera out in the backyard when I heard them coming out of the woods. My wife was on the porch and I motioned for her to look and momma bear eased out into the yard, stood up on her hind legs, and started sniffing the air. She got back down on all fours, let out a little growl, and 3 cubs, not much bigger than a cat, eased out behind her, turned to the left and headed down to the creek.

Just joking but in all seriousness I absolutely hate bears. They tear everything up. Had to replace door handles on our camp on the coast here in Louisiana because they chew em up.
