Tactacam Reveal Availability Update

I got this reply from Tactacam:

We are making new models for 2021 but we have a lot of testing left to do to narrow down all the functions and features. As soon as we have more information we will be sharing it

Dang. Why change if it ain’t t broke. They prob arent changing anything just realized it was a great camera, and they weren’t charging enough. My guess is they repackage the same cameras, and sell them for $249 instead of $99

I have 4 tactacam camera's running. For the price I think they are pretty good and will get more if the price doesn't change. They are not perfect. I'm missing a Lot of pictures. Some are on the camera and not being sent and some just not taking. We have them setup up where we can see them while hunting so I know it's missing pictures

Just picked up a tactacam reveal at Wal-Mart in Foley, they only had one. They're starting to show up.

I looked at walmart in oneonta this morning. Nothing

I ordered one 15 minutes ago after I read this post and checked my not so close local wally world, showed only one in stock. Says I can pick it up tomorrow 04/01. We shall see if it was still in stock. If not they will just refund my money. Good timing if it is in stock because I gained permission to hunt a 10 acres tract of pines today.

I think the ones showing up at walmart are the old design.

They are, that is what I picked up today. The Reveal X should start shipping around may 1st.

herd360 is slowly having them trickle in. He sent out an email saying he has ordered like 10k of them or something and they have promised him they will eventually fill the order. Go sign up for his mailing list. He had them listed at $129.99 and on sale for $119.99.

He said he would have 100 available at 9pm today. I was refreshing every second until 9. As soon as they came up I tried to order 2 clicked PayPal payment. Had my transaction done in less than 30 seconds and they were already sold out

Yeah, I had a similar experience. He said he was going to allow 4 per person. So I hit it at 7:59, refresh, refresh, ok available, try to put 4 in cart, wouldn't let me, put 1 in, let me, tried to change to 4 once in cart, wouldn't let me, changed back to 1 and tried to checkout....and sold out.

I emailed him, saying there was no way humans bought them up that quickly that he should do something where his past customers can get in on the purchase. He acted like they were all humans. Then yesterday he sent out an email about how he was doing it different last night b/c bots bought so much of the first batch!! He should just put them up on the site and not send out a massive blast email and just let them sell as people realize they're available....not like he would have problems selling them w/out the email blast.

I got 3 from Cabela’s that are scheduled for delivery tomorrow! Just had to keep checking different places until some showed up.

Can the new reveals be used as a standard camera if not hooked up to cell service?

Just found some at the East Hartford Cont. store, Cabelas.

Just ordered 3 on cabelas website. It said they were in stock and charged my card so guess we’ll see.

Ordered two from Basspro in Springfield Friday when they released. Got them today. 👍🏼
