You may be the wrong guy - didn’t you post a pick of a real fat 10 last year showing up in back yard? That looks like same deer - he lost a few pounds since last year though - he was a butterball last year. My mistake if u wrong guy - some guy posted deer of real fatso 10 in back yard Last year - looked like this one and thought guy had Paul in his name

That deer above 5-6

That early pic was the fastest deer I had ever seen - it was almost comical - like the fat Albert of the deer herd

Good deer - thanks for sharing - little trimmer but still a fatty

Did he go down a little this year? Thought his rack may not b quiet as nice - can’t remember his rack exactly from the real fat boy picture but thought last year was better

Re: 10-point back yard boy still alive ... - 12/14/20 01:47 PM

yes, if he is the same deer, his rack has gone down. he came to the corn last night at 1:45 a.m., stayed one minute, and left. i think he is checking does. i'm going to use this thread as a journal to keep up with when i see him on cam. maybe i can detect a pattern ...

i killed fat boy yesterday evening. he came charging into a yard full of nine does, shoulders back and nose in the air. 181 pounds live weight. i reckon he had trimmed down a bit, fighting. he had broken his longest brow tine down to a nub.

tdog, i usually don't sell my knives; i use antler only in the front of the handle as a bolster, and on the back as an end cap; usually black cherry or locust or bamboo as handle; scandinavian puuko traditional design, usually. i most often use swedish and finnish blades ...
