It's a Hawkins style 45cal
Shoot it or they make a co2 unloader that locks to the nipple and pushes the bullet out,or a screw type jag screw it into bullet and pull it with loading rod. Ive only used the screw jag after one failed to fire and soaked the barrel in water to neutralize powder since your head is right over barrel.

One of the main reason I dont hunt with a Muzzy much. Just a PITA no matter what you do. Shoot it/clean it, pull it,dump powder, etc.....either way gotta be cleaned out. I'd 'bout rather carry a bow than a muzzleloader.

Just leave it loaded until next year.

I just pull the 209 off after every hunt and at the end of the season I shoot the round and clean and put up til next season

I shoot & clean it, heard too many stories about misfires & hangfire for me to think about it.
