Looking at getting one Sunday..would you say it's the best bang for your buck for a beginner?

mine has been good , i use triple 7 powder 100 by vol. hornaday 250 sst ml . & blackhorn 209 110 by vol. same bullet,the trip 7 you need to clean between shots ,I use a alcohol patch. one thing is the breach plug will foul easy keep it clean, bh209, you only need to worry the most with the blackhorn 209 breach plug,, you reload and shoot again with out cleaning between shots, big deal when hunting. just take your time work up a good load and go hunting.get the bh209 breach plug ,it works best with bh 209.

It's a good gun for beginners and old folks alike. Mine shot well with 110 great of BH209 and the 250 SST also. Good advice from garyo above, get the BH209 breech plug and don't look back
