First flintlock. Kentucky model. Looking forward to making sparks and smoke. A few dings in the wood... but I think I can work on them enough to make them less noticeable.

place a wet/damp washcloth over the ding and put a clothes iron over it. Take yer time and don't burn it, heat will make the ding swell up and go away.

Will that work on rifles with all the layers of finish on them? I have a old Remington adl that sure shows its wear lol
