What’s the going price for 30 caliber hornady bullets. Found some fixing to jump on em if I’m they aren’t any local to north west Alabama. Haven’t had any luck finding any

Preferably 150-165 sst

SSTs are about $0.40 a bullet, going off Midway's prices. Provided you can find them. Last I bought were $29.99 per 100 but that was several years ago.

Bass Pro now has a fair inventory of bullets. Check their site or a store if one is near.

I see more Hornady on shelves than other brand. I saw some in Vann’s a couple weeks ago but I didn’t notice the particular sides. I will keep my eyes open for them as I’m out and about the next few days.

Midway still has a decent selection of factory seconds in 30 cal. I've ordered them for years and never been dissapointed. typically there is 1 or 2 bullets in a batch of 500 that will have a damaged tip or something. Best deal going IMO

Walter craig had some bullets in stock. Hornady, speer, sierra, bergers did not look at prices. Id call first thing move fast.

What about Amax for hunting?

My 3o8 amax 178 gr target load is deadly on deer. Alot of that could be shot placement!

👍 I’ve only been doing it for short time. I started developing 3 shot loads today with amax and Varget 168gr. I’m not looking for a long range setup just a deer killer. Getting a lot more accurate
