Anybody here load and shoot this cartridge? If so, what do you shoot it in.

You talking about the .348 win rifle wildcat or the revolver? If it's the rifle 4198 and h322 if it's the revolver look into H110 4227 and aa#9. I showed a fella how to crimp those 400 grain Barnes for his rifle. It looked scary just sitting in the case.

YES dave260. I've been playing around with this cartridge for a while. I've been trimming the case down to 44mm to shoot with BP in Husky roller. I'm seriously playing with the idea of having the chamber reamed for the 50 Alaskan at full case length and filling it with BP. I was just curious if anyone else here has played with this using BP. Here's a few of my shortened cases.

Told y'all it was scary looking. Nitro sadly my knowledge of powders only extends to Smokeless mostly I know Windex with vinegar cleans BP up but that's bout it.

Yes dave, that's how I used to be before I got these rollers from Sweden which are from the BP era, so I'm kinda on the learning curve when it comes to BP too. I know that the pressures are much lower than smokeless, but I have lots to learn about BP in cartridge use.

Ya, I know they are kinda bad looking, but from what I have heard some of the feral pigs can be kind of hard to puncture, and this is a black powder cartridge only moving along at 1200 to 1300 fps, so I figured why not load it up with a nice spire point lead projectile. I use the same profile projectile in my 44 mag and my wife's 44 special. A very good performer and also very accurate.
