RCBS 5-10 scale - 10/20/19 09:36 PM

Just wondering if anyone has ever had any problems zeroing these scales? I finally moved all of my reloading equipment to my new house yesterday and got it set up and when I went to zero my scales everything seemed good. The problem I ran into is when I took a bare bullet (a 270 150 grain partition) I set my scale to dead on 150 grain and put the bullet in the pan and out of 5 bullets all out of the same box maybe 1 of them actually read a true 150 grains the rest were just over or under. I'm just wondering if there is something wrong with my scales or are all bullets not the exact weight that they are supposed to be because I took some accubond and some gamekings and they were the same story.

Bullets vary from one to another in the same box. They are not perfect.

I've yet to measure a 50 (or 100 never tried 250 or 1000) count box of bullets that all were square weight wise. Fondly remember a 146 grain box of .270 150 grain Speers that made me look gooood at the range with either H4831 or WW760.

Like folks said above, it ain't an issue with the scales.

Good I appreciate everyone's input. I was worried that something happened to it while moving it and wanted to make sure my powder charges were not going to be over/under charged.
