I have better luck with lapua brass than anything else. I don't know about the other cartridges but it's easy to find for .308 and not much more expensive than any of the other ones.

try any brand of brass and you shouldn't have many problems, just a little more prep work. High dollar brass is nice to use but Winchester, starline brass will serve your needs for hunting ammo. I like Lapua or Norma brass when I can get a good price but also use Winchester or Remington brass for some of my rifles.

There is a reloading supply store up in Cullman (I can't remember the name of the store) which sells once fired brass at pretty good prices.

Winchester, Remington, star line and even lake city will do fine for most any hunting rifle . When you buy Norma, nosler and lapua your are paying for someone else to do your prep work for you, and it is some nice brass also but is really overkill for the typical reloader.

I found some 308 and 30 06 winchester at midwayusa for a good price..still looking for 7mag. When y'all say more prep work what are you meaning? I no make sure to trim if needed debur and resize.

Lake City 308 (7.62 x 51) is pretty good brass. I have 100 pcs of it and a couple hundred pieces of Lapua. I have weighed them both and they are almost identical in average weight with a little more variance in the LC brass. Only had a few pieces of the LC that were not very concentric. Accuracy is almost as good, and not enough of a difference to matter in any hunting situation.
