Having good success with DP Z Traps. I am catching all male coons. Is there a secret to catching the females. Trapping for predator control.

I know up here in IN it is rutting time, so males are on the move.

From Alabama source

Raccoons breed mainly in February or March, but
mating may occur from December through June,
depending on latitude. The gestation period is about
63 days. Most litters are born in April or May but
some lateā€breeding females (typically those who lost
the first litter) may not give birth until June, July, or
August. Only one litter of young is raised per year.
Average litter size is three to five young that first
open their eyes at about 3 weeks and are weaned
sometime between 2 and 4 months of age.
