I don't understand how this zone is laid out as far as the refuge goes does anybody have a clue?

You can’t hunt it you have to pay attention to the boundaries they lay out on the map. I’ve only been on one hunt down there won’t go back.

What's your question? I know this zone like the back of my hand... Are you talking GA side or AL side? Are you wanting to know if you can hunt the refuge (absolutely not)? Are you wanting to know where the Southeast zone starts and Lake Eufaula ends?

What do they consider the refuge is the river part of the refuge or are are they talking about the land of the refuge

The refuge covers land and water. Mainly out from the Kennedy unit up the river and up the Cowikee Creek (South, middle and north forks.

Yeah there’s very clear markers on the water to indicate refuge. The gators know it better than the hunters because I’ve watched them swim towards the line multiple times.
