And can't wait to die...

Put in one set with castor and was working on the second when he swam up behind me. After he did an abrupt 180 I saw him patrolling the far side of the pond. Finished the set and went to get my wife out of the truck. He swam right up to the corner of the dam and proceeded to make another castor mound 20' from the truck. A .22 to ear fixed that problem.

I'll let the sets in for a couple of days to see if there's a second beaver. I'm betting he was just getting set up and didn't have a mate yet.
