so it’s squirel season and I went both Saturday and Sunday. Plan on possibly hunting once or twice during the week before I hunt next weekend again. Gotten couple so far and man it’s good to be back in the woods. Anyone else hunting them hard despite the heat

They still got them bot fly larvae?

My thoughts exactly.....gonna need a good frost or two before I'm gonna shoot any.

Bot fly larvae doesn't affect the meat, just nasty to mess with.

I haven’t actually seen any with not fly larvae and I’ve killed 6 in the swamps & river bottoms
