weather and animal movement

With the new moon approaching and the weather getting really cold-and windy- would you expect more or less movement from predators ?

Moved some DP's into a new area this afternoon. Pretty hardwood ridges that drop off into a cypress swamp. Interested to see if any come out to play tonight.

When I coon hunted a lot, full moons seemed to make them move less. Temps in the teens really seemed to make them hole up.

I feel like last week when it was really cold there was less movement.

15 traps over 6 locations and only 1 Coon. More than half were in locations that had not been set this year. Interested to see what tomorrow holds. Hopefully this wind lays and they move some.

Lack of wind last night made a difference I believe. 3 coons this morning.
