Charred set worked!

Made three sets with a charred stake and caught this one yesterday after two days of having them out! Looks as if I have learned a different way to catch them! This makes the 11th coyote behind my house....never dreamed I had that many!

Nice catch. Started working a different tract/area yesterday. Only one set and a couple of DP's out yesterday but hope to put in several more this afternoon.

Do you have a picture of the set? Did you just lay the charred stick down or drive it into the ground?

I just sharpened one end and drove straight in ground and set trap in front and a little offset! I think this particular set i put yodel dog gland lure at base of stick and hit with coyote urine and a shot of red fox urine also!
