The one that got away

About a month and a half ago, I had a trap pulled out of the ground. The guy I was trapping for sent me a text tonight and told me his buddy had shot the coyote that stole my trap. It still has my name tag and everything.

that's impressive. what are the chances to not get tangled-up in something? looks like his luck ran out though

Update: apparently it was killed on the adjoining property 2 days after the trap was stolen, but he just found out about it

What exactly is that trap? I am impressed that it didnt finally get the trap worked off!

I was wondering how he looked so good after running around for 6 weeks with a trap on his foot until I saw your update. Glad someone got him.
