New to trapping and have ??????

I understand about boiling and waxing the traps but haven't read anything about cleaning the tools to dig the holes. So should I boil the sod buster , dirt hole puncher and stake driver as well? I'm assuming they have just as much oil and grease on them also. I'm going to boil my traps Sunday afternoon and cover them with damp leaves and leave them for a week or until they get a fine coat of rust. Then I was going to dye and wax them. So if I boil the tools above should I dye them as well??

I don't but I don't guess it would hurt!
