gonna see if I can get a few more woodies today. My buddy is in another hole about 500-600 yards away. Divide and conquer is the motto today. May try to hunt a deer for an hour or so afterwards.

Worst flying to date. Only saw 4 and killed 2. My buddy killed the only one he saw. Had a doe ease by while I was in the water. In a box stand on a power line now.

Good morning in Jackson county for us this morning. We might have finally gotten some new ducks. Good wind certainly helped. About 3 weeks late but still nice to see that I don’t need to burn my waders.

I figured the north wind wound be good for lots of folks. Just not our day today!! Congrats!

Thanks! Especially on a day like this one. Had a drake land just out of range and I was about to smash him when i heard some squealing. I looked and 3 more were coming in. They circled and came back and I shot 3 times and managed to drop 2 of them. Tough day in the WDH.

We shot a mixed bag of 17 ducks and 12 geese this morning and afternoon combined.

Talked to a friend yesterday and he said he burnt 12 gallons riding on gville & scottsboro and did not see anything.
