Japanese millit ???? - 07/02/20 04:59 PM
So I’ve been doing some reading, but still little confused. I understand now is the time to be planting it, but how deep of water can I plant it in, and can I fertilizer it anyway?
For the ones that has planted it in bama in the past, I’m all ears for suggestions.

I don't think you can plant it into water, but once it gets 5-6" tall, it will continue to grow in standing water.

Ahhh... 10-4. So plant it in wet land and then flood it...

The few times I've planted it, it was a moist soil and was on and off wet during growing. Then flooded at maturity. Grew well in those scenarios. Never fertilized it either.

I drop the water and throw it out on the mud flat. It usually grows pretty well and then flood it back.
